62 Doors was started by a small group of artists in the summer of 2005. The walls that define the studios consist of doors salvaged from an old barn and also from the top floor of the Artmain building. These walls are where the name “62 Doors Gallery and Studios” originated.
62 Doors has 9 individual studio spaces, a printmaking studio, a gallery, and a commons area with a kitchen and living room. Studio renters work in a collaborative effort to put together gallery exhibitions with receptions that are open to the public. We enjoy building upon the thriving Minot art
community and welcome visitors and artists of all genres. In addition to art exhibits, 62 Doors hosts workshops, concerts, and various other social events.

We are below Artmain – just look for the stairwell to the north of the store entrance (if you reach the parking lot, you’ve gone too far). Don’t be intimidated by the descent into the basement gallery. You will find friendly faces and a thriving art scene inside!
